Houseboats at Pier T

Several houseboats moored very close to each other. There are cars on the seashore. The ground is covered with snow.

Unlicensed houseboats and free-form parking at Pier T in Pohjoisranta in the early 1970s. This may have represented an alternative lifestyle in keeping with the spirit of the times, but also affordable housing in the city centre at the seaside.
