Ullanlinnan kylpylaitos, established in 1834. Ullanlinnan kylpylaitos, also called Kaivopuiston kylpylaitos, apparently had only steam rooms and no Finnish sauna. Regardless of this, the street leading to Kaivopuiston kylpylä spa was called Saunakatu (“Sauna street”) from 1909. It was a translation of the name Badhusgatan, which had been in use since the 1840s.
