Spas were marketed with their health benefits, but they were also a business, like Bad Central for its owner, commercial counsellor Julius Tallberg. As it was aimed at wealthier people, it was only advertised in Swedish-speaking newspapers. An advertisement in Hufvudstadsbladet on 19 August 1901.
