South Harbour, Katajanokanlaituri. The quay is occupied by the passenger and car ferry m/s Viking 6, the dry cargo ship m/s Ariel, the passenger ship m/s Finnhansa and the passenger and car ferry GTS Finnjet.
Regular ferry transport from Helsinki to Stockholm did not start until 1972. The photo shows ships at South Harbour and Katajanokanlaituri: the passenger and car ferry m/s Viking 6, the dry cargo ship m/s Ariel, the passenger ship m/s Finnhansa and the passenger and car ferry GTS Finnjet.
