In a cabin of the Aallotar

Interior view of a ship’s cabin. On the left is a sink with a lid and passengers’ belongings on top of it. On the wall is a mirror shelf with flowers in a vase. Only the right arm of the person lying on the upper bed is visible, while a smiling woman is lying on the lower bed, reading a booklet or a thin book. There is a patterned carpet on the floor, and the couple’s shoes are placed neatly under the bed.
The Aallotar was completed in Denmark in 1937 and had to be handed over to the Soviet Union after the Continuation War.
