Newspaper kiosk at the Railway station

A picture taken inside a newspaper kiosk shows a large number of papers and magazines in different languages and the vendor standing sideways to the viewer. There are four customers in winter clothes at the counter.

For a long time, newspaper and magazine kiosks were an integral part of the streetscape of Helsinki. Many foreign newspapers and magazines were also available at the railway station kiosk in 1929.
