People in front of the shop window of the General Press Bureau (Yleinen Sanomalehtitoimisto OY) at Pohjois Esplanaatinkatu 33 (now Pohjoisesplanadi 33) following the publication of E. M. Remarque’s book All Quiet on the Western Front.
The General Press Bureau was a window to the world: it provided not only information, but travel tickets as well. Erich Maria Remarque’s new book All Quiet on the Western Front drew a crowd to the window in 1929.
