S/s Ariadne heading for Szczecin

The steamship Ariadne about to leave Helsinki for Szczecin. There are plenty of passengers on the outer deck and those who have accompanied them on the quay. Ariadne was built in 1914 and was owned by Finland Steamship Company Ltd until 1969. The bow of the ship was overhauled in 1938.

The steamship Ariadne about to leave Helsinki for Szczecin. Owned by Finland Steamship Company Ltd, the vessel was in service between 1914 and 1968. The ship would first travel to Stockholm and then to Szczecin between 1921 and 1938.
